First, meet Rez. He loves serving up the cocktails at Fridays in his hometown, Erie, PA. To him, this is where it all comes together. “We've got a great bar that also serves great food,” he says. “What more do you need?”
In Somerset, MA, Alison Christian is living the dream. “I always dreamed of being in the middle of the action. If you're a party of one and you sit at my bar, you're not a party of one anymore.”
When you grab a seat at Chris Owsiany's bar in Fairborn, OH, you're part of the fun right away. “We're actually interacting with people, not doing this the whole time,” he says with a smile, pretending to text.
