What does EXE stand for?

EXE is an executable, runtime file. In the case of the game, Bovinator™, it is the runtime version of the game. The entire game is self-contained within the EXE file.

Does the game install anything on my computer?

The Bovinator™ game DOES NOT install extra files on your computer. The only file required for the game is the file named "Bovinator.exe."

Does this game cost anything to play?

This game is free to play and distribute.

I downloaded the game, but I cannot find it on my computer.

When you click on a link to download the Bovinator ™ game, the following dialogue box will appear

Make sure the "Save this program to disk" box is checked. Click the "OK" button. The following dialogue box will appear.

We recommend that you click the "Save in" pop-down menu at the top of the screen and select "Desktop" and then click the "Save" button. This will put the game on your desktop. You can then move the file to any folder or drive on your computer.

What are "cookies?"

A "cookie" is a small file that many Web sites and programs leave behind on your computer to store information such as preferences, selections, etc. so that this information is available next time the Web site is visited or the program is executed. You may disable cookies in your primary web browser to prevent this from happening.

I can move the mouse but I can't select anything or fire. How do I fix this?

If the program is frozen you will need to press Ctrl-Alt-Del. This will bring up the Task Manager, which will give you a list of all of the programs that are currently running. If the program is frozen it will probably have the text "Not Responding" beside it. Click on this program to highlight it, then select End Task. After a couple of seconds, the program should close.

Why do I need to supply an e-mail address?

An e-mail address is required to download a game and to post your scores. We will not send you any communication via e-mail unless you indicate that it is okay to do so.

What happens to my information I give during registration?

Kewlbox or TGI Friday’s Inc. will not share or transfer this personal information to any third parties without your permission, although it may collect, sell, or publish demographic information and statistics in the aggregate. This is more fully covered in the Privacy Statement in the game, the Privacy Statement on the Web site www.fridays.com, and the Privacy Statement on the Web site www.kewlbox.com.

Why does it only show my top five scores?

The scoreboard is set up to show an individual player's top five scores so that more players can appear on the scoreboard.

Does the person with the highest score win anything?

Just bragging rights.

What is an Easter Egg?

An Easter Egg is a hidden feature located in the game. Some of these hidden treasures may be easy to find, while others prove to be more difficult. Companies often hide them in their games for people to find. Easter Egg hints will be randomly posted on the T.G.I. Friday’s website.

What are the system requirements for the game?

Does Bovinator™ communicate over the web?

When you play Bovinator™ with an open Internet connection, it will send a signal to the Web site kewlbox.com, so that we can count how many times the game is played. This signal does not transfer any personal information, such as your name, e-mail address, etc.

Is there a Mac version of the game?

No, there is currently not a Mac version of the game available.
